Dister dan Kompleksitas Determinasi Kontemporer http://jurnal.stft-fajartimur.ac.id/index.php/lim/article/view/169
This study constitutes an examination of the philosophy of freedom as articulated by a Dr Nico Dister, a prominent metaphysical philosopher in Indonesia. The analysis delves into the philosophical intricacies of the content, stylistic elements, and methodological approach employed in expounding the philosophy of freedom. The investigation adopts a philosophical lens, scrutinizing both the strengths and weaknesses inherent in the examined work in comparison to analogous analyses within the realm of related philosophies. The findings of this analysis underscore the profundity, comprehensiveness, and critical nature of the philosopher's conceptualization of freedom. The philosophy of freedom elucidated in this study addresses challenges emanating from theological, physical, psychological, social, and environmental determinisms. Despite its merits, a notable limitation surfaces in the examination of the philosophy of freedom. Specifically, the study falls short in encapsulating the intricate dynamics of determinism within the realm of psychology, and it neglects to consider the ramifications of the burgeoning digital regime on the concept of freedom. However, the work contributes significantly to the philosophical discourse on freedom, offering valuable insights into its multifaceted nature and challenges.
Ignasius Ngari Copyright (c) 2025 Limen : Jurnal Agama dan Kebudayaan 2025-03-24 2025-03-24 20 2/April 95 126 10.61792/lim.v20i2/April.169 Imago Dei http://jurnal.stft-fajartimur.ac.id/index.php/lim/article/view/173
Imago Dei refers to the concept in Judeo-Christian theology that human beings are created in the image and likeness of God as narrated in the book of Genesis 1:26-27, which states, "Then God said, 'Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness'... So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." Thomas Aquinas, a distinguised medieval Christian theologian and philosopher, addresses the concept of Imago Dei by drawing on the Christian theological tradition, and provides insight into what it means for humans to be created in the image of God. He believes that humans reflect the image of God through their rationality and ability to reason and also through their capacity to choose the good and exercise moral agency. While Aquinas' teaching on the Imago Dei has been widely accepted and influential, there seems that some points of such theme challenge us to engage in discussing it critically. By focusing on the intellectual soul, Aquinas only pays attention to the intellectual and spiritual aspects of the human person even though the human person includes the physical aspects. Does Aquinas's understanding fully describe the human person as the image of God? This is the issue that needs to be discussed.
Fransiskus Guna Copyright (c) 2025 Limen : Jurnal Agama dan Kebudayaan 2025-03-24 2025-03-24 20 2/April 127 145 Rekonstruksi Sakramen Ekaristi Dalam Terang Redemptionis Sacramentum http://jurnal.stft-fajartimur.ac.id/index.php/lim/article/view/171
Redemptionis Sacramentum, a document issued by the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments in 2004, has profound implications for both the clergy and the laity in the celebration of the Eucharist. This paper investigates the impact and encourages a deeper understanding of the mysteries the Eucharist. Furthermore, Redemptionis Sacramentum aims to foster a greater sense of reverence and awe for the Eucharist among the faithful, thereby enriching their spiritual experience and strengthening their faith. Through an examination of RS, this paper sheds light on its implications for both clergy and laity, highlighting its role in promoting a more reverent and meaningful celebration of the Eucharist within the Catholic Church.
Marthinus Selitubun Copyright (c) 2025 Limen : Jurnal Agama dan Kebudayaan 2025-03-24 2025-03-24 20 2/April 146 164 10.61792/lim.v20i2/April.171 Gereja Kaum Miskin http://jurnal.stft-fajartimur.ac.id/index.php/lim/article/view/170
This article is a theological-pastoral perspective on the way of life of the church which is called the church of the poor. Through this discourse we would like to emphasize that the Church, with all its theological-pastoral characteristics, has to realize its presence and prophetic mission for the salvation of all people, especially those who are poor and marginalized. It is important to understand that the realization of the church of the poor is an imperative of the gospel. The characters and values embodied in this way of life reveal the authenticity and actuality of church life. The face of the church to be displayed is one that has the courage to take part in various problems of poverty and common welfare in the sake of realizing the fellowship of God's people who believe in Christ, especially in encountering the poor and marginalized. In this context, the church of the poor is a church that lives the spirit of synodality. The church, with its spirit of synodality, has its full meaning when it walks together with the poor and marginalized. For this reason, we also suggest a possible pastoral design/proposal for the realization of the spirit of synodality in the church in favor of the poor and marginalized. Using literature research methods and a convergence of sources, we attempt to present a comprehensive range of insights on the theme.

Keywords: kaum miskin, Gereja kaum miskin, sinodalitas, Gereja sinodal
Yoseph Selvinus Agut Copyright (c) 2025 Limen : Jurnal Agama dan Kebudayaan 2025-03-24 2025-03-24 20 2/April 165 181 10.61792/lim.v20i2/April.170 The Social Identity of West Papuans http://jurnal.stft-fajartimur.ac.id/index.php/lim/article/view/174
The clash of clans tensions have an impact on all sectors in the city of Wamena. The unresolved roots of historical problems of violence are embedded and develop into the identity of the Papuan people. The purpose of this study is to measure the social identity of people in the city of Wamena between tribes and towards immigrants. Aligning with the cultural values ??of the Balim Valley people to “live together” remains essential. Using mixed methods with Social Identity theory including interviews and Likert scale. While data interpretation is qualitative. Examining the attachment of the Wamena community and polarization towards immigrants. The results of the field research found that 51.4% felt "very happy" socializing with other communities or tribes, proving the openness of local communities towards newcomers. As many as 89.2% of participants admitted that their identity as a Papuan was “very important”, showing how the community compares with immigrants through their tribal traditions. Measuring ties between religions which play an important role in social categorization; identify negativity towards other groups; preferences for the church (system of belief) and government (politics); out-group favoritism; as well as identification of self-identity (individual) with the group (community) will be discussed in this paper.
Hana Rori Copyright (c) 2025 Limen : Jurnal Agama dan Kebudayaan 2025-03-24 2025-03-24 20 2/April 182 208
